I saw this\ngraphic on Facebook today and it totally resonated with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How often do\nyou hear somebody say \u201cI wish I could drive.\u201d (Just as an example\u2014although I do\nknow a couple of people.) But they don\u2019t do anything about it. They catch a bus\nor a taxi, day after day, sighing and moaning, feeling unhappy, wishing they\ncould drive\u2014being jealous and nasty about those who can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you had to\ntackle them they\u2019d probably say, \u201cBut it\u2019s so difficult.\u201d Or \u201cI don\u2019t have the\ntime to learn.\u201d Or \u201cBut I don\u2019t have money for a car so what\u2019s the point.\u201d Of\ncourse, if they can\u2019t drive, they\u2019ll never have a car, will they?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So they\ncontinue to complain that they\u2019re hard done by because they can\u2019t drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they put their mind to it, driving could actually become a reality. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old\nsaying, where there\u2019s a will, there\u2019s a way still applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they wrote\ndown their dream \u201cI want to drive by the end of 2019.\u201d and stuck it up on the\nfridge, it would no longer be a dream. It has become a goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the next steps need to be planned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find out\nwhere a person can take driving lessons, and how much they cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you\nneed to save first, to be able to pay for those driving lessons. Work out what\nis affordable and stick to the plan of saving X-amount every single month\ntowards your goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take action! Book\nthe learner\u2019s license test in advance. You can\u2019t take lessons if you don\u2019t have\nyour learners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the time\nthat you are saving wisely: look and see what is happening on the road. Check\nout the road signs. Study the learners\u2019 book, ask those who can drive\nquestions, get them to test you on questions from the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019ve\npassed your learner\u2019s license, you can take those lessons\u2014because you\u2019ve saved\nthe money and you have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you\u2019ve\nfinished your lessons, you are ready to take your driver\u2019s test. And you will\npass it the first time because you\u2019re prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what if\nyou don\u2019t have a car\u2014you can drive! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is\nnothing to stop buying your own car as the next goal. Saving towards a deposit,\nmaking it happen\u2014one step at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turns those\ndreams into reality people\u2014no matter what they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
