Anyway\u2014it\u2019s illegal!<\/li><li><strong>Pull over\nif you are tired<\/strong>. Falling asleep behind the wheel is the ultimate danger to\nyourself and everybody else on the road. Don\u2019t let yourself get to that stage.\nPull over and have a nap. Or do what my Dad\u2019s friends do\u2014whenever they are\ngoing on a long road trip, they take turns driving, one hour each. It sounds a very\nshort time, but it breaks the journey up and makes the whole thing more doable\nand much safer.<\/li><li><strong>Stick to\nthe speed limits.<\/strong> This is a biggie. Every year people die on the roads\nbecause some wally thinks it\u2019s okay to speed. Those limits were not put there\nto irritate you; they are there to keep you safe. Just obey them, okay!<\/li><li><strong>Do not\nuse your cellular phone when you are driving<\/strong>. Unless you have a hands-free\nkit that is. No answering calls, definitely no texting, no checking your inbox\nquickly, no taking a pic of that gorgeous sunrise or sunset\u2014it might be the\nlast one you\u2019ll ever see if you do.<\/li><li><strong>Kids\u2014no\nshouting, arguing or playing the fool in the car<\/strong> when your parentals are\ndriving. It can cause them to lose their concentration which is dangerous.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There are also rules for walking on the road too. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are\nonly a few of them:<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Always walk facing oncoming traffic.<\/li><li>Don\u2019t ever run across the road.<\/li><li>Wear bright clothes at night time if you are walking on the road so that the cars can see you.<\/li><li>Don\u2019t walk and text using your cell phone\u2014pay attention to what is going on around you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, you can brush up on your road safety skills by reading our book, <strong><em>Sibo Looks Right<\/em><\/strong>.
